We strive to bring advances in Computer Vision, NLP and ML to operating rooms and beyond. Before taking a plunge into "startup", I worked at Amazon and Oracle for many years. At AWS, I worked on "Opensearch Serverless". I built several teams, worked with some of the sharpest minds at AWS to architect scalable services, optimized SDLC processes and stabilized software culminating in a private-beta for the service and early access release. Prior to joining AWS, I made Alexa smarter by teaching Alexa about Question and Answers from all over the world and in many languages. I led team of engineers that made it possible for Alexa to answer knowledge based questions that customers find relevant and insightful, we used a variety of NLP & machine learning techniques. Before joining Alexa, I was responsible for strategy and execution for Oracle Management Cloud & its data platform. Services I built are used by thousands of Oracle Management Cloud customers to monitor and manage their IT infrastructure - databases, web-servers, app-servers either on-prem or running in any cloud! I joined Oracle as part of acquisition of Empirix's web-applications testing group. At Empirix, I started Empirix's India operations - grew the team from 0 to 35, built teams for software development, testing, support and sales across various businesses of Empirix. I led software development and other functions of Empirix's flagship products e-Tester, e-Load and e-Manager before and after acquisition. I am a mechanical engineer by (formal) education, software engineering practitioner by choice. I love solving complex problems by investing time and building sustainable and scalable solutions - all products and services I've built have withstood test of time and have delighted users.
