Peter Kay is a Founder and Partner at I-8ighty6ix based in Manhattan Beach, California, United States, North America. Since I founded I-8ighty6ix in 2007, our primary business has been the design and facilitation of Innovation Workshops – in-person, virtual or hybrid – for clients that are seeking to generate a large number and wide range of new, bold and original ideas – from incremental to breakthrough, and even disruptive – to help solve problems or take advantage of opportunities. Our workshops tend to focus in marketing areas such as new products and services, customer experiences, communications and promotions. Also, we conduct Momentum Sessions that help clients prioritize, operationalize and monetize findings from quantitative studies. And, we design and facilitate Qualitative Research that is unique in that it is interactive and exercise-driven. Hallmarks of an I-8ighty6ix Innovation Workshop: ⎷ Each Innovation Workshop is artfully designed and meticulously planned to stimulate idea generation through a mix of proprietary exercises combined with the group dynamics of workshop participants. ⎷ Increasingly, we employ AI as a “co-pilot” to tap into diverse data sources, expand the spectrum of ideas to explore, and generate innovative ideas that can result in products and services with greater chances of success. ⎷ We actively work with clients to build-out and refine the most promising ideas and concepts along with providing feedback from key target audiences and new customer segments. We work with many of the most successful brands in the world – both B2B and B2C – in a myriad of industries and categories, including automotive, CPG, retail and foodservice, healthcare, financial services, and hospitality and travel. I bring to I-8ighty6ix decades of both client and agency-side experience, including heading Innovation at the largest marketing research firm in the Western U.S., Lieberman Research Worldwide (LRW), along with marketing leadership positions at several national healthcare companies and global advertising agencies such as Foot Cone & Belding.
