Leonardo Basterra is a Founder and Partner at The Voice Society LLC based in Katy, Texas, United States, North America. I am an International Strategic Marketer with +20 years of US/LATAM strategic marketing experience as both, a practitioner and management consultant, primarily focused on building brand architectures, brand portfolio management, communications planning and go-to-market strategy, with specific expertise in all things Digital. Focused on adding value as an entrepreneurial, non-traditional media visionary with a successful track record of building profitable consumer brands, both offline and online, by combining commerce, community and customer care. I am currently Founder and Partner at The Voice Society, a Marketing Communications firm with offices in Houston and Mexico City. I also Founded Koob, a content production company that uses 3D audio and binaural sound to create immersive audio experiences. Previously, as Executive Director at Lopez Negrete Communications (the largest Hispanic Agency in the United States) I drove the strategic direction and growth of all Digital, Social and Mobile engagements across LNC’s client portfolio. My leadership and vision were the driving force behind Lopez Negrete’s industry-leading Digital and Social marketing capabilities, including the creation of the first bilingual/bicultural social media intelligence center in the United States. It could not have happened if I were alone. My talented team of more than 30 people was consistently focused on thinking, creating, developing and optimizing Digital experiences for multiple blue chip companies, including: Walmart, Verizon, Bank of America, Chrysler and Samsung. During my tenure, LNC was recognized with multiple accolades, on creativity, development acumen and business achievements. I am originally from Mexico and hold an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
