Josh Haymond is a Managing Partner at Vaco, LLC based in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, North America. Trying to be better than yesterday. A player-coach, I have a dual role of leading Vaco's Raleigh market as Managing Partner, and serving clients directly with talent solutions and consulting needs. I have consistently grown our market, with the last two years serving as record years for our office, while also landing as Vaco's top salesperson in both years across all Vaco sales professionals. Before joining Vaco in 2013, I spent five years in Big 4, with stints at KPMG and PWC, assisting clients through transactions including initial public offerings, mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and restructurings. Involved in the business community, I am active in a number of local organizations, including CED, NCACPA, and the Raleigh Chamber, where I served on the Board for Leadership Raleigh for several years. I also oversee Vaco's Raleigh community budget, where we support non-profits in the Triangle with a budget that grows as our revenue grows. In 2020, I founded Beyond Basketball, a non-profit organization supporting the mentorship and preparation of student-athletes for life beyond the court, improving access and programming in the areas of STEM, entrepreneurship, career readiness, community involvement, and wellness, all rooted in leadership. Enjoying the innovation in the start-up ecosystem, I am an accredited investor and Founder of LMH Capital, LLC, named after my two sons Liam and McDaniel, with investment focus in early-stage growth companies. An alum of University of North Carolina Wilmington, I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Accounting, and also keep my CPA license active.
