He also has extensive contract manufacturing experience in the US and Asia. John Nino is currently the CEO of Life Science Outsourcing a leading Medical Device Contract Manufacturer and value added service provider. John is also a Strategic Advisor and active Member of the ECA Medical Instruments Board of Directors. Prior to joining LSO John was the President and CEO for Aveox Inc. a Designer and Manufacturer of Motion Control Systems for mission critical Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Industrial applications. Prior to being promoted to CEO he served as Chief Business Development Officer responsible for developing and executing Business and Commercialization strategies and building strategic relationships. In 2005 John Nino became the President of ECA Medical Instruments and was a pioneer in the creation of single-procedure surgical instruments. John joined American Capital in 2003 as a Vice President on the Operations Team. working with American Capital’s portfolio companies to improve efficiencies and profitability. Prior to joining American Capital Mr. Nino was Sr. Director of Tactical Operations and Product Development for MSC Software, the industry leader in virtual prototyping. Previously he was Vice President of Operations for EOS Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high efficiency power supplies, and Sr. Manager of Programs and Manufacturing Operations for SMTEK International, an ISO certified contract manufacturer of commercial and defense electronics. Mr. Nino spent 10 years as an Electrical Design Engineer for Rockwell International’s Rocketdyne Division where he received multiple awards for his efforts related to propulsion system testing for the Space Shuttle, Atlas ELV and the International Space Station Electrical Power System. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California with emphasis in control systems.
