Christopher Wright is a Founder, CEO, Board President at Quoria Foundation based in Belmont, California, United States, North America. As a mission-driven Founder and CEO, I help to solve systemic problems with innovative solutions, working with teams to bring positive change. I apply my experience as an entrepreneur along with objectivity, creativity, and intuition — key tools for effective change — to . . . - Identifying potential systemic solutions - Working with the team to bring the best ideas forward - Building consensus among stakeholders - Executing the plan. I founded Quoria Foundation because I believe that we — we the people — determine the direction in which this world turns whether it’s a small, local project or an international effort. Personal examples of determining this direction include: 1) Creating Math4ALL, an online math program designed to help English learners stay on pace with their English-speaking peers. 2) Developing the “We the People Speak” project to bring awareness of the numerous ways in which the influence of corporate and special interest money in D.C. politics negatively affects people's lives and the nation. 3) Identifying at the NGO, Twelveacres, how it could save about $250,000 per year while also providing a better quality of life for its special needs residents. I conceptualized Quoria’s Math4ALL to be a “massively multilingual” math practice product designed to address one of the largest national, systemic educational problems that few are discussing. Specifically, a large majority of English learners — speaking 400+ languages — fall years behind their English-speaking peers because they are given English-only content. Math4ALL, currently accessible in 24 languages and on its way to 95, helps keep these learners on pace with their English-speaking peers while they learn English. Additional Career Highlights - Led the software development and release of Math4ALL. - Assembled Quoria’s Board, Council of Advisors, and Educator Advisors. - Oversaw the software development, marketing, and sales of the Quarter Mile Math software product line (including defining its product specs) which was used by over 1,000,000 students in the U.S. and Canada. - Led the technology team to release successive versions of Quarter Mile Math including the addition of new math content, teacher tracking features, animations, and sound effects. - Submitted a design (among 5,200 others) to the World Trade Center Memorial Design Competition. My submission, along with about 180 others, was later featured in the 2016 book, “9/11 Memorial Visions.” In a conversation with the author, he told me my design was on his top three list.
