Catherine Foster is a Creative Director at Treadaway based in Chicago, Illinois, United States, North America. With a passion for brands, language, and beauty, my career has been centered around creating brand identities and experiences that speak to the human experience while driving businesses forward. Tactically, my experience spans working with early and growth-stage companies across various industries to define and design brand identity and expression. Working closely with executive teams and founders is the cornerstone of my consulting practice. As the founder and creative director at Treadaway, I’ve built a strategic design consultancy that serves a select clientele and creates brand experiences that drive loyalty through end-to-end strategy, design, and management services. As the inaugural board chair of Westminster University’s Honors College Advisory Board and as a former Director at large on the Robert S. Hartman Institute Board of Directors, I’ve spent six years in non-profit and board leadership, always aiming to give back more than I've been given and make communities stronger. EXPERIENCE → Strategizing, designing, and deploying brands across industries including consumer goods, SaaS, fintech, non-profit, interior design, healthcare, law, real estate, and DTC eCommerce. EDUCATION → B.A. in Communication and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication — both from a beloved private liberal arts institution, Westminster University.
