Previously, I was head of Oracle's Data Integration product portfolio, strategy, technical direction and enablement for all Data integration products including major products such as Oracle GoldenGate (Replication, HA), and ODI (ELT, ETL). In this role, I spent my time internally with software development teams on product development, and externally to communicate Oracle's Data Integration vision, product strategy/roadmap, as well as leading the Center of Excellence product team that architected and benchmarked mission critical, strategic, scalable data management solutions worldwide. Before Oracle's acquisition of GoldenGate, I had overall responsibility for GG's technology solutions (CTO role). Working with product development, product management, marketing, sales, customers, and academia to develop GG's Transactional Data Management platform and vision. Previously had over 10 years of systems development experience at Oracle in the database recovery base development group. Designed and developed kernel features in Oracle db (Releases 8i, 9i & 10g,11) primarily focusing on WAL, Backup & Recovery, Data transport and high speed Cross Platform data conversion, movement to transport db objects across Oracle databases running on heterogenous platforms at disk copy speeds.
